Weeks Five and Six
Apologies for the late entry but we have had a dramatic couple of weeks. Unfortunately Tabitha developed a uterus infection from delivering the kittens and became quite sick. Luckly we were able to whisk her straight into the vets where she spent a couple of days on a drip and antibiotics until she was well enoug to convalesce at home. Of course Tabitha's kittens still needed caring for so we were bottle feeding them every couple of hours. Thankfully Tabitha was soon reunited with her kittens to the joy of both her, her kittens and the relief of ourselves. She has gone from strength to strength caring for her kittens and all are doing well.
We are also sad to say that we lost one of the tabby point boys. Losing kittens is one of the hardest parts of breeding kittens but sadly Mother Nature sometimes takes over and not every kitten will make it.
The remaining five kittens are growing big and fat. They all love their dinner and demand it several times a day. It is lovely to see Tabitha playing with her kittens in our living room and teaching them how to climb and hunt!

We have one kitten available
Truffle - chocolate point boy Available
Truffle is the last kitten looking for a special home of his own. He is a confident kitten who is always first to come running when he hears my voice. Truffle also likes lots of cuddles and a warm knee to snuggle up on. His favourite toy is a pipecleaner spider that is nearly as big as him but that doesn't worry him and he still tries to kill it!
Truffle will be ready to leave in December 2012. Please contact me if you can offer him a loving home.
