Tabitha's Kitten Diary
Newborn - One - Two - Three - Four - Five - Six - Seven - Eight - Nine - Ten - Eleven - Twelve - Thirteen
Weeks Five & Six
We have had a great week with the kittens; they have all gained lots of weight and have progressed from the toddling stage to the charging around madly stage almost over night. They are a confident bunch who like to who what is going on outside their nest box. Starling is still a very petite girl however she is catching up with the other kittens and no longer needs a helping hand with feeding.
Weaning has also been a great success this week. Little Wren has been eating scrambled egg from four weeks and quickly progressed to kitten food and even munching Tabitha's dry food by five weeks! The other kittens have been a little less precocious however Dove and Siskin are confident eaters now and Starling and Lark need a little more convincing.
This litter really have been a dream, for as well as weaning themselves and simply being delightful, they have also toilet trained themselves. I have felt rather redundant this week however I have just sat back and enjoyed watching them play.
